Communication for Community and Business

This course develops oral, reading, and writing skills, with emphasis on aspects of technical and business Engligh that are difficult for non-native speakers of English. Students apply principles of clear communication to realistic situations at work and in the community. Prerequisities: CEESL 537 and CEESL 538 or placement by exam, and CEESL 536 or 503, or placement by interview. ESL - Advanced Grammar and Composition

ESL - Intermediate Grammar & Writing

ESL - Intermediate Listening, Speaking

ESL - Intermediate Reading & Vocabulary

ESL - Spoken American English

Spoken American English helps students develop American English pronunciation that can be understood by most native speakers. Students in this course learn to produce clear and comprehensible English by studying stress, intonation, and phonetic patterns. ESL- Advanced Reading & Vocabulary
