Animal Control Certificate Part I

This 40-hour course offers South Carolina's Animal Control Officers a comprehensive program to prepare to deliver professional and humane services that meet the high standards of quality that citizens expect and deserve. Special emphasis will be given to the euthanasia process. Students completing this portion of the program will be awarded an additional certificate. Part I and Part II do not have to be taken in sequence.

 

Animal Control Certificate Part II

This 40-hour course offers South Carolina's Animal Control Officers a comprehensive program to prepare to deliver professional and humane services that meet the high standards of quality that citizens expect and deserve. Part I and Part II do not have to be taken in sequence.

 

First Aid for Your Pet

Protect your pet by learning basic first aid and life-saving techniques. Being prepared can mean the difference between life and death. Students will practice hands-on techniques using a life-like canine mannequin. Materials are included in cost of course. Students will be American Red Cross certified in animal CPR at the completion of the course.

 

Veterinary Assistant Certificate

Learn the aspects of veterinary medicine necessary to become a competent veterinary assistant. Emphasis is on receptionist duties, laboratory procedures, medical terminology and client relations. Upon successful completion of this certificate program, the student will have the knowledge necessary to qualify for an entry-level position as a veterinary assistant. All materials included.

 

Veterinary Assistant Certificate I

Part II of this certificate program features in depth hands-on study of laboratory procedures, medical terminology, client relations and duties which will prepare the student for an entry-level position as a veterinary assistant. Prerequisite: Veterinary Assistant I.
