Appraisal Review Document

This course will go over the basics of appraisal review. It will show participants what to look for in an appraisal form. Participants will go over the review standard in the USPAP document.

 

Basic Appraisal Principles-080-QE1

This introductory appraisal course provides an overview of real property concepts and characteristics, legal consideration, value influences, real estate finance, types of value, economic principles, real estate markets and analysis, and ethics in appraisal practice. Through discussion of appraisal principles, accompanied by practical examples, provides a solid foundation in appraisal basics. A calculator is recommended. Tape recorders are not permitted during class lecture sessions.*This course meets AQB standards effective 1/1/08.

 

Basic Appraisal Procedures QE2

An overview of real estate appraisal approaches to value, valuation procedures, property description, residential applications, commercial applications, improvement construction, and appraisal math. Participants will learn practical application of appraisal procedures.

 

Command Spanish for Realtors

Command Spanish for Realtors is designed to help the realtor better serve the Spanish-speaking property buyers. Realtors will learn and understand specific phrases, commands and questions related to purchasing a home. Book is included in the price.

 

Home Inspector

This 40-hour home inspector course is approved by the SC Residential Builders Commission. Successful completion of the course qualifies you to take the Home Inspection Exam. Text included in tuition.

 

National USPAP QE3

This course gives you a thorough understanding of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice as promulgated by the Appraisal Foundation and is required by TITLE XI of the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act of 1989. Textbook is not included in the price of the course and can be purchased at the Beltline Campus Bookstore. This course is approved by the South Carolina Real Estate Commission.

 

PL1 Agency Property Disclosure

This course is designed to meet requirements for Agency and Property Disclosure. We will identify importance of agency in the practice of Real Estate. There will be a discussion of the law of agency. Participants will study key concepts of real estate relationships.

 

PL2 Contracts for Real Estate

Real estate transactions include a different number of types of contracts. The competent agent must be familiar with code of law and community practice.

 

PL3 Ethics and Real Estate

All real estate agents want to do the right thing. Sometimes ethical questions present dilemma. This course will highlight ways to think through and solve ethical issues. This course will train the agent on the process. The course is awaiting LLR approval.

 

PL4 Measurements & Valuations

One of the roles of a real estate agent is to help the buyer evaluate the value of the property. What to measure and how to value it are critical skills.

 

PL5 Fair Housing

The real estate agent plays a key role in the implementation in federal, state and local fair housing laws and interpretation. This course will update agents in performing this aspect of their profession.

 

Property Management OPL019004

This 32-hour pre-licensing course must be successfully completed prior to taking the SC Real Estate Commission's Property Management Exam. Private rental property owners can benefit from the practical hands-on knowledge gained from this course. Students will need to download the Real Estate License Law from the LLR website www.llr.state.sc.us.

 

USPAP Update #86-CE-NSU

This seven-hour USPAP update for appraisers will satisfy the state and federal biannual licensing requirement as well as half of the annual 14-hour continuing education requirement. All regulation updates and changes are included in this course.

 

Unit I Real Estate Prelicensing -OPL019001

Successfully complete this course and receive 60 hours toward certification which qualifies you to take the South Carolina Real Estate Commission's first year's sales license exam. Some topics of discussion are: real property law, agency relationships, federal and state laws and regulations, pricing of real properties, contracts, financing and real estate mathematics. Bring a calculator and highlighter. Text included in the cost.

 

Wood Destroying Organisms CEC 223004

Meets 8-hour Real Estate CE requirements and Appraisers' requirements. Working lunch included.
