Small Engine Repair

Provides participants with a working knowledge of types and operation of small engines, engine service and repair of outdoor power equipment. Learn how to perform engine tune-up procedures and troubleshooting methods, engine failure analysis, engine performance measurement, engine system and engine rebuild procedures. Students must provide the following tools: Flat head and Phillips head screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, 9-piece SAE and metric socket set, 9-piece SAE and metric wrenches, and 1 pair of pliers.
