Implementing SQL Server 2005

This course covers a universal core skill of SQL Server, creating and implementing data storage objects such as database, data types, and tables, constraints, indexes, views and programming objects such as user defined functions, stored procedures and triggers. These core skills are used by developers, database administrators and other IT professionals having to work with SQL databases.

 

Maintain SQL Server 2005

Gain the knowledge and skills that administrators or database developers need to install, configure, secure and maintain enterprise SQL Server 2005 databases and servers. This course requires some experience with SQL Server.

 

Query SQL Server & Reporting Services

Get experience using Transact-SQL Query Tools retrieving data; grouping and summarizing data; joining multiple tables; working with subqueries; modifying data; querying full-text indexes. You will also learn to program objects in this class. In addition, the third day of the class includes modifying Reporting Services reports.

 

Querying SQL Server

Get experience using Transact-SQL Query Tools retrieving data; grouping and summarizing data; joining multiple tables; working with subqueries; modifying data; querying full-text indexes. You will also learn to program objects in this class.

 

SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services

Students will learn how to implement a Reporting Services solution in an organization. The course discusses how to use the Reporting Services development tools to create reports, and how to use the Reporting Services management and administrative tools to manage a Reporting Services solution.

 

SQL Server Express

Learn everything you need to be productive with SQL Server 2005. This course gives you hands-on exposure to database design and creation, security, diagramming, backup, recovery, indexes, views, stored procedures, triggers and basics of reporting services. SQL Server 2005 Express Edition is used in this course.
