Get the training you need to start a new career or move up to a better one with the help of a QuickJobs scholarship. Fast-paced Continuing Education QuickJobs programs offer career training in high demand fields: healthcare, manufacturing, industrial trades, information technology, and office administration. Industry experts agree that as many as 70% of jobs projected through 2016 will require specific or occupational training. Many programs can be completed in less than three months. Some programs have annual earning potentials over $60,000. To apply for a QuickJobs scholarship, you must attend an information session. These sessions will provide details about eligibility, the application process, and QuickJobs programs. The sign-in desk for this session will close fifteen minutes after the session begins. Applicants whose household or personal incomes are at or below 80% of median will be given priority. All applicants will take WorkKeys tests to determine placement eligibility. Some programs require criminal background checks and drug testing.

If you are interested in improving your skills and joining a team of manufacturing professionals, come to this session to learn about MTC's South Carolina Manufacturing Certified Production Technician training program. The South Carolina Manufacturing Certified (SCMC) Production Technician program is a state and nationally recognized, industry-led training, and certification program focused on teaching students the core skills and knowledge needed to become an advanced manufacturing production worker. Employment opportunities are currently available with local employers. Scholarships are available for qualified candidates. Clean criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen required in order to qualify.
