Clinical Massage Therapist can take students into the world of healthcare and beyond. These skills are in great demand in sports medicine, chiropractic, neonatal, geriatrics and health spas. Offered day and night, this 9-month classroom and clinical program prepares students to sit for the national certification exam and licensure in South Carolina. Major curriculum: anatomy and physiology; clinical massage theory and practice; allied modalities; statutes and history of massage; business practice, ethics, pathology, and CPR. Admission requirements: Minimum Asset/Compass scores of 40/80 on Reading, or 19 or above on ACT, or 920 or above on SAT; high school diploma/GED, or a college degree; health and criminal background screens.Must be able to perform physical tasks. Deferred payment plan available; program qualifies for veteran benefits. Acceptance into this program is contingent on an interview with the Program Manager.
