Course Description

Course Name : CEMED-500 Course Title: Cardiac Care Technician Course Description: The ability to read and recognize heart rhythms is the main function of the cardiac care technician. Students will receive hands-on experience in interpreting heart rhythms and arrhythmias. White scrubs and white closed-toe shoes must be worn to all classes/clinicals. Clinical hours will vary. Prerequisite: Medical Terminology with a grade of "C" or better and AHA CPR Certified.
