Course Description

Course Name : CEWLD-801 Course Title: Advanced Shielded Metal Arc Welding Course Description: Prerequisite course: CEWLD-800. This course will instruct and assess students in advanced American Welding Society (AWS) standards of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW or stick). Students will start with horizontal, vertical, and overhead v-groove welding techniques with backing before moving on to flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead v-groove open root welding techniques.
