Required | Bring the learner's permit, motorcycle registration card and proof of insurance to the 1st class. Pen, pencil and a note pad.
Students will ride their personal, street legal, fully registered motorcycle. It must pass a T-CLOCK inspection by the instructor. Please inspect and repair any defects prior to coming to the class. Any motorcycle with defects, adversely affecting the safe handling and control of the motorcycle, can't be ridden in the class. Refer to the Motorcycle Owner's Manual for more information.
Students using a borrowed motorcycle must also bring a completed and notarized Permission to Operate Form which will be mailed after you are enrolled. If your name is not on the registration card, it is a borrowed motorcycle for the purpose of this class.
A Waiver Form must be completed and signed by all participants during the first session. Riders under the age of 18 but at least 15 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign the Waiver Form. Parents or guardians of riders under the age of 18 must come to the first class meeting. No one will be allowed on the motorcycle until a Waiver Form is signed.
Whenever seated on a motorcycle, all students must wear the proper protective gear. Please acquire the required protective equipment prior to the 1st class.
Students are required to wear the following protective clothing during EVERY riding session: A DOT approved full face or open face helmet is required. Half coverage helmets are prohibited. If you do not have a helmet, one can be provided. Eye protection, i.e., face-shield, sunglasses, goggles, or glasses Long sleeve jacket Long pants, preferably jeans or leather Over-the-ankle foot wear, not cloth or canvas. Optional equipment includes rain gear, sun block, and sunglasses. You may want to bring a small cooler with water or other liquids. ALCOHOLIC beverages are strictly PROHIBITED. Range exercises may last beyond lunch, so bring a snack. | 100.00 |
