Required | EC students must have a Motorcycle License (a Learner's Permit will suffice, however you must bring PROOF that you have attended a Motorcycle Safety Foundation class within the past 5 years) and be able to demonstrate, to the instructor's satisfaction, adequate throttle and clutch control. Bring the learner's permit, motorcycle registration card and proof of insurance to class.
A Waiver Form must be completed and signed. Riders under the age of 18 but at least 15 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign the Waiver Form. Parents or guardians of riders under 18 must come to class to sign the waiver. No one will be allowed to ride until a Waiver Form is signed.
Students will ride their personal, street legal, fully registered motorcycle. It must pass a T-CLOCK inspection by the instructor. Complete the form prior to class. Inspect and repair any defects prior to class. A motorcycle with defects, adversely affecting the safe handling and control of the motorcycle, cannot be ridden in the class.
Each student is responsible for the safe operation of his/her motorcycle.
Students using a borrowed motorcycle must also bring a completed and notarized Permission to Operate Form. If your name is not on the registration card, it is a borrowed motorcycle for the purpose of this class.
Workbooks will be provided. Bring a pen, pencil and a note pad.
The protective clothing is required during EVERY riding session: A DOT approved helmet. Half coverage helmets are prohibited. Eye protection, i.e., face-shield, sunglasses, goggles, or glasses Long sleeve shirt Long pants, preferably jeans or leather Over-the-ankle foot wear, not cloth or canvas. Heels over one inch are not suitable. Full finger gloves
Optional equipment includes rain gear, sun block, sunglasses and a small cooler with drinks. ALCOHOLIC beverages are strictly PROHIBITED. Range exercises may last beyond the lunch schedule, so consider bringing a snack. | 100.00 |
