Cost is approximately $80 if coupons are used at local art stores such as Michaels or Hobby Lobby for inexpensive brands of paints and brushes. Not all of the Amsterdam names match the supply list exactly but they will work.

Primed canvases: 6 only 11"x14" or 16"x20" You may want to buy 1 of each size until you see which size you prefer.
Brushes: An inexpensive variety pack of synthetic & bristle brushes for Acrylic Painting with short or long handles is fine. The instructor uses 1" and 1/2" bristle brushes, 3/4", 1/2", 1/4" synthetic flat brushes, a variety of synthetic round brushes from small to large with short handles.
Paint: Buy the best you can afford. Golden, Liquitex Basics, or Holbein Tubes in a variety of colors. Paints greatly vary in price and quality depending on brand. Suggested Colors: Cadmium Yellow Light, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Cadmium Red Light, Alizarin Crimson, Burnt Umber, Titanium White, French Ultramarine Blue, Phthalocyanine Blue, Phthalocyanine Green, and Magenta. All other colors including purple & black are optional.
